Overview

This annual update will provide attendees with comprehensive overview of treatment advances for cancer patients featuring a faculty of experts from MSK. By attending this symposium, participants will understand the advances in cancer treatment involving multiple areas medical specialties. The target audience includes physicians, nurses and other healthcare providers from diverse specialties that provide care for cancer patients.

Similar to last year, we are incorporating the 35th Annual National Corporate Medical Associates Meeting into this course and expanding the audience to include community providers, MSK Direct members, and MSK employees interested in learning about new treatment advancements for cancer patients. LIVE SIMULCAST - Friday, June 15th, 9:00 am-5:00 pm EST

We are pleased to offer a live simulcast for the Cancer Treatment Update 2018.  Attendees registered for the live simulcast option will receive detailed instructions via email prior to the start of the course. This will include information on how to engage with the faculty (through an online Q&A) as well as information on how to claim CME and ABIM MOC credits - active participation throughout the live simulcast is required. Please note the simulcast will begin at 9:00 am on Friday, June 15th, and will end at 5:00 pm (EST), with an hour lunch break. Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

AMA Credit Designation Statement

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center designates this live activity for a maximum of 6.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

ABIM MOC Recognition Statement

Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 6.25 Medical Knowledge MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.
