Building Resilience and Self-Preservation in Healthcare

An interdisciplinary course with the objective of learning about Building Resilience and Self-Preservation for professional caregivers of patients with life-threatening illness. The agenda includes lectures, panel discussions, and experiential sessions - the combination of which introduces key themes of resilience and self-care for healthcare professionals.

Target Audience

This conference is intended for professional caregivers of patients with life-threatening illness as well as healthcare leaders (including chief medical officers, and, directors of graduate medical education, medical center occupational health, human resources and employee wellness programs).

1. Discuss commonly experienced challenges faced by clinicians who provide care for patients with life-threatening illness.
2. Identify resources and strategies, both individual and organizational, for building resilience among professional caregivers.
3. Upskill in techniques to manage stress (including meditation, exercise, and nutrition).

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your participation in this course, your registration fee, less a $75 administrative fee, will be refunded when email notification is received by the MSK Office of Continuing Medical Education (MSK CME) at least 7 days prior to the first day of the course ([email protected]).

Cancellations or no-shows after this date are not eligible for a refund. MSK CME reserves the right to cancel or postpone any course due to unforeseen circumstances. In the unlikely event we must cancel or postpone this course, we will refund the registration fee in full, but are not responsible for any related costs, charges, or expenses to participants, including fees incurred by airline/travel/lodging agencies. At any time, you may substitute another registrant in your place after contacting MSK CME with the relevant information.
