Atlas of Musculoskeletal Tumors and Tumorlike Lesions

MSK is excited to offer a significantly discounted rate of $80 for all course attendees to purchase the Atlas of Musculoskeletal Tumors and Tumorlike Lesions textbook during registration. This textbook will be a valuable resource to refer to during the course. Please note that course attendees are highly encouraged to have a copy of this textbook; however, it is not a requirement.

Sponsors

Memorial Sloan Kettering gratefully acknowledges the following organizations for providing educational grant and financial support for this live activity:

  • ONKOS Surgical
  • Zimmer Biomet

Objectives
  1. Participants will learn the essentials for a rationale approach to diagnosis and management of the most common bone and soft tissue tumors and tumor-like conditions
  2. Current multimodal management of bone and soft tissue malignancies, including surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy and novel systemic options, will be extensively discussed along with future perspectives.
  3. Clinical, pathologic and molecular features of the various entities will be reviewed and discussed, with emphasis on differential diagnosis. For bone lesions in particular, an articulated multidisciplinary pattern recognition approach based on clinico-radiographic and pathologic correlation will be highlighted.
  4. The format will include interactive sessions for questions and case presentation, in order to practice multidisciplinary approach to diagnosis and management. The main topics of each day will be reviewed the next day during an early morning interactive session of numerous board-like multiple-choice questions.
