Overview

Zsofia K. Stadler, MD and Kelsey Breen, MS, MSc, CGC are pleased to introduce the inaugural Hereditary Cancer Genetics course.

This Hereditary Cancer Genetics conference is a single-day lecture and case presentation series that provides professional training in clinical cancer genetics hosted by one of the largest cancer genetics centers. The goal of the course is to provide a foundation of knowledge in cancer genetics and highlight current developments in the field of cancer genomics to inform patient care. The course will provide:

  • an overview of cancer genetics risk assessment;
  • discuss cancer-specific risks and management for hereditary cancer syndromes;
  • highlight oncologic therapeutic implications of germline findings;
  • review genetic findings from tumor-profiling results with hereditary implications; and
  • discuss the changing landscape of provision of genetics care.

We are pleased to offer AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™, ABIM MOC points, and Category 1 Continuing Education Units for Genetic Counselors for this course. If you are a genetic counselor, please ensure to enter your NSGC ID number during registration in order to claim CEUs.

Who Should Attend

The conference is intended for practicing medical oncologists, genetic counselors, advanced practice providers, and other health care providers who are interested in learning about the incorporation of genetic testing into patient care.

In-person or Virtual

We invite attendees to join us in-person at Zuckerman Research Center in New York City for this conference. We are also pleased to offer a virtual option (via Zoom) for attendees unable to join us in-person. Please note that the program will begin promptly at 8:00 am. Breakfast for in-person attendees will begin at 7:00 am and virtual check in will be at 7:45 am.
