Overview

This on demand program includes 20+ didactic presentations and discussions comparing the risks and benefits of a variety of rectal cancer treatments including:

  • The complexities of choosing between neoadjuvant therapies and operative and non-operative approaches in early-stage rectal cancer, upper rectal cancer, mid/lower rectal cancer, and MSI and stage IV rectal cancer. 
  • 'Real life' patient cases used to illustrate the benefits and limitations of different approaches.
  • Highlights of recent landmark colorectal cancer clinical trials and real-life applications, including Niche, Dynamic, AINKER, and NeoTrial, by their investigators and discussed by expert faculty.

By completing this on demand program, learners will be able to identify appropriate treatment plans for their patients.

The target audience for this on demand program includes medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, interventional radiologists, colorectal/hepatopancreatobiliary/oncologic surgeons, gastroenterologists, pathologists, and other oncology care team members interested in rectal cancer.
