Overview

This complimentary two-hour program will provide the latest information on new cancer drugs and how to identify ocular toxicity associated with them. Expert faculty from MSK will provide a refresher on pediatric and adult ocular tumors as well as a review of treatment advances in recent years. Lectures include:

  • Ocular Side Effects of Cancer Medications (Julia Canestraro, OD)
  • Ophthalmic Imaging to Distinguish Malignant from Non-Malignant Tumors (Jasmine H. Francis, MD)
  • Update on Retinoblastoma (David H. Abramson, MD)
  • Eyelid Tumors: Assessment and Approach to Management (David Della Rocca, MD)

This course is intended for Optometrists, primary eyecare providers, and residents. In-person and virtual registration available. Dinner will be provided for in-person attendees.

We invite attendees to join us live, in-person or virtually, for this program. The program will be held at Memorial Sloan Kettering's Zuckerman Research Center.

Attendees interested in claiming COPE CE credits must first register for this course. Objectives
  1. Diagnose ocular toxicity in patients on new classes of anti-cancer agents
  2. Identify lid tumors and manage them appropriately
  3. Accurately recognize choroidal tumors and manage them appropriately
  4. Understand new techniques used to treat retinoblastoma
