MSK’s Physician Relations Lecture Series: 2023 Updates on Breast and GYN Cancer

MSK's Physician Relations Team invites you to a complimentary one-hour, virtual update on breast and gynecologic cancer. This complimentary lecture series, hosted by MSK's Physician Relations Team and led by MSK faculty experts, aims to provide valuable updates and insights across a wide range of topics.

In the 2023 Updates on Breast and GYN Cancer session:

• Dr. Vance Broach, GYN Surgeon, will provide updates on fertility sparing surgery for cervical cancer.
• Dr. Virgilio Sacchini, Breast Surgeon, will discuss the role of screening and breast cancer awareness for early diagnosis of breast cancer.

Lectures will be followed by a Q&A session with the speakers, providing attendees the opportunity to engage with the faculty and ask questions. Additionally, attendees will receive access to an online syllabus after the meeting concludes, which includes select PDFs of the faculty presentations (slides) and recorded videos. Please note that you must check in during the meeting in order to receive access to the syllabus.

This session will be delivered virtually (via Zoom) and is intended for physicians, surgeons, APPs, nurses, trainees, and other healthcare professionals interested in breast and GYN cancers.

1. Identify when fertility preservation is an option for patients with early stage cervical cancer
2. Determine when sentinel lymph node biopsy is a strategy for patients with early cervical cancer
3. Describe the importance of screening for early diagnosis of breast cancer
4. Discuss the therapeutic and prognostic implications of early breast cancer diagnosis
