Overview

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is delighted to extend an on demand option for the 7th Annual Advances in Colorectal Oncology Symposium, originally held live on November 9-10, 2023. This annual symposium focuses on the multimodality management of complex colorectal cancer, including optical surgical techniques, applications of "Watch and Wait", and the impact of recent landmark CR cancer trials presented by their investigators and discussed by expert faculty.

This on demand offering features a series of lectures and engaging Q&A sessions led by MSK and international leaders in the field. Additionally, PDFs of the speakers' presentations (slides) are included. Topics covered include:

The target audience for this program includes to medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, diagnostic radiologists, interventional radiologists, colorectal/hepatopancreatobiliary/oncologic surgeons, general surgeons, gastroenterologists, pathologists, and other oncology care team members interested in rectal cancer.

Objectives
  1. Describe the requirements for a successful, multidisciplinary colorectal cancer program
  2. Explain recent updates and clinical trials in colorectal cancer
  3. Identify appropriate candidates for Watch and Wait
  4. Discuss evidence based practice recommendation for the management of hereditary and colitis-associated cancers
  5. Review evidence based practice in the management of LAMN

For those that purchase this on demand, access to the content, as well as the opportunity to claim credit, is available through September 30, 2024.
