Keynote Presenter

Dr. Staci Reynolds received a baccalaureate degree in nursing science from Indiana University (IU) in Indianapolis, Indiana.  She earned a Master’s degree as a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) at IU in 2011, and completed her PhD at IU in May 2016.  Dr. Reynolds’ dissertation focused on implementation of clinical practice guidelines, and her current research interests includes evidence-based practice implementation and quality improvement.

Clinically, she worked as a neurosurgical ICU nurse, and served as a CNS in inpatient neuroscience science units at IU Health and Duke University Hospital (DUH) and within the DUH Infection Prevention Department. As an Associate Clinical Professor at Duke University School of Nursing, she teaches healthcare quality improvement methods in the DNP Program. She is also the Clinical Research Unit Director, and the Director of Academic Assessment and Evaluation.

In January 2023, Dr. Reynolds was appointed the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Nursing Care Quality.

This program is designed for healthcare professionals of all disciplines including nurses, advanced practice providers, physicians, pharmacists, dieticians, social work, physical therapists, occupational therapists, respiratory therapists or any other licensed clinical practitioner interested in learning more about evidence-based healthcare and how to integrate it into their practice.
