Overview

Dermoscopy permits the observer to visualize skin structures located below the stratum corneum that are not visible to the unaided eye. The morphology visualized through dermoscopy has led to improve clinical diagnostic accuracy with increased sensitivity and specificity for the detection of cutaneous malignancies.

This highly anticipated, 17th annual Dermoscopy Intermediate Course is designed to educate clinicians on the morphologic features seen with dermoscopy that help differentiate skin cancer from benign lesions. Lectures will be dispersed with Interactive tests and games throughout the program to help reinforce content learned.

"I love the course and have attended it on at least 4 or 5 occasions over the years. I find it relevant to my everyday practice … the lecturers are wonderful and so clearly excited about what they can do and how they can share it."

"Wonderful humor and warmth between speakers makes me want to return year after year. The games helped me focus my attention on learning pattern recognition."

"I thoroughly enjoyed this program and think it will greatly benefit me as a clinician. It has helped me set up fundamental skills for dermatoscopic evaluation and will continue to use those skills daily … I will be able to improve my diagnosis and treatment for malignant and non-malignant entities."
