Overview

The purpose of this course is to provide clinicians, scientists, and students with an overview of the ways that exciting progress in imaging technologies and computer science combined with changes healthcare delivery will impact the future of dermatology. There will be ample time for questions and discussions throughout the sessions.

The target audience for this course includes clinicians, researchers, students and industry motivated to anticipate and participate in the application of digital technology for dermatologic care.

The course will consist of a series of presentations followed by panel discussions and Q&A with faculty. Please note that only lectures scheduled in the ‘Morning CME Session’ from 8:30 am-12:30 pm are eligible for AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.

Live Simulcast Available

We are pleased to offer all non-MSK Employees a live simulcast for the Transforming Dermatology in the Digital Era 2019 course. CME credit will be offered for only the lectures in the "Morning CME Session" from 8:30am to 12:30pm via the live simulcast. Active participation is encouraged throughout. We do hope you will attend in person but understand that can sometimes be a challenge so we are happy to offer the live simulcast as an option.  Registration for the simulcast is required; to register, please select the "Live Simulcast" option during course registration.


Objectives
  1. Understand the opportunities and barriers to leveraging computer informatics for the diagnosis of skin cancers
  2. Understand the benefits of and challenges to the integration of dermatologic photography with electronic medical records (EMR)
  3. Understand the benefits, limitations and legal barriers of teledermatology

Registration

 Live Simulcast   $275
 Industry Professionals*   $175 

Course registration includes continental breakfast, lunch, and refreshment breaks. Please contact [email protected] at least one week prior to the course if you have any special dietary requests or require any specific accommodations.

MSK employee registration is complimentary. However, you must complete course registration in order to attend this course.

*Industry professionals may attend CME activities for their own education. Marketing, sales, and promotion of products and services is strictly prohibited at MSK CME activities.
