Overview

Condensed into two comprehensive days, this accelerated course provides a high-yield review of the material tested in the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) certification and recertification examinations in Medical Oncology.

With the rapid expansion of knowledge in medical oncology, preparing for board exams has become increasingly challenging. This course is designed to provide a focused review of the diagnosis, staging, and management of solid tumors and malignant hematologic disorders. Emphasis will be placed on common, curable malignancies and other high-impact topics frequently tested on the boards. Each topic will be delivered through concise micro-lectures, ensuring efficient coverage of essential material. Participants will also receive summary notes for each topic to support their study and exam preparation.

This course is designed for hematology/oncology fellows preparing for initial board certification, as well as medical oncologists seeking initial certification or recertification. We're delighted to offer complimentary registration for all fellows to attend this course.

This program will be held exclusively in-person at Memorial Sloan Kettering's Rockefeller Research Laboratories.

Objectives
By attending this course, participants will be able to:

  1. Prepare for the ABIM examination in medical oncology through high yield material
  2. Highlight the latest therapeutic developments tested on the examinations
  3. Review the diagnosis, staging, and management of solid oncology and malignant hematology disorders with a focus on common and curable malignancies
