Overview

Radiologic imaging plays a critical role in the care of all oncology patients, yet a knowledge gap in radiologic interpretation exists among Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). This on-demand program, recorded live April 2, 2025, offers a comprehensive overview of radiologic interpretation, specifically designed for the oncology population.

Topics include imaging of the breast, pelvis, chest, abdomen, brain, spine, extremities, and whole body. Key imaging modalities such as X-ray, ultrasound, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and nuclear imaging will be covered. The program also includes unique radiologic considerations for pediatric and transgender populations, innovative applications of imaging in interventional oncology, and a case-based exploration of radiologic imaging across the cancer care continuum.
