Overview

This annual forum brings together healthcare professionals from all disciplines to explore how evidence translates into meaningful improvements in clinical practice. The program will feature a variety of exemplary quality improvement projects and practice-based initiatives.

Project leads will share their approaches to implementing successful evidence-based strategies that have driven meaningful change within their institutions. Each presentation will showcase how the application of high-quality evidence can lead to measurable improvements in practice and patient outcomes.

Session topics include Innovative Use of Technology and Artificial Intelligence, Interdisciplinary Collaboration, Leadership and Organizational Impact, Professional Development and Education, Improving Patient Outcomes and Advancing Health Equity. The program also features two dynamic Rapid-Fire Poster Sessions, offering presenters an opportunity to showcase their projects in concise, high-impact presentations.

We are especially pleased to announce the 2026 Keynote Address, Technology with a Human Pulse: Advancing Patient Care with Innovation and Intention, to be delivered by April Saathoff, DNP, RN, Vice President and Chief Nursing Informatics Officer at Johns Hopkins Medicine.

Objectives
  1. Identify methods used to gather high-quality evidence in order to make a practice change
  2. Recognize successful implementation strategies for change management
  3. Illustrate the importance of demonstrating the return on investment for evidence-based change
  4. Discuss strategies used to translate research into daily practice
