Overview

This four-and-a-half–day course provides an up-to-date review of the pathology of selected subspecialty areas of neoplastic disease, including genitourinary (GU), gastrointestinal (GI), and thoracic pathology. Lectures will incorporate the appropriate use of advanced diagnostic techniques — such as immunohistochemistry and molecular pathology — including the evaluation of therapeutic biomarkers.

In addition to expert-led lectures and case presentations, the course offers optional interactive slide seminars on selected GI, thoracic, and GU pathology topics to facilitate discussion and reinforce diagnostic approaches through case-based learning (additional fees apply).

  • GI Pathology Slide Seminar: Pancreatobiliary Tumors — Monday, April 27 | 4:30–6:00 p.m.

  • GU Pathology Slide Seminar: Cases That Made Me Think Outside the Box — Tuesday, April 28 | 4:45–6:00 p.m.

  • Thoracic Pathology Slide Seminar: Live Consensus Conference for Challenging Cases — Thursday, April 30 | 4:30–6:00 p.m.
