Overview

This symposium will provide a comprehensive, case-based update in neuro-oncology, featuring expert-led lectures and panel discussions with leaders in the field. The program will open with a historical perspective on the Department of Neurology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, followed by focused sessions on hematolymphoid malignancies involving the central nervous system, neurologic complications of cancer and its therapies, CNS metastases, and glioma.

Through multidisciplinary perspectives, clinical insights, and the latest research updates, this symposium is designed to enhance clinicians’ understanding of complex neurologic conditions in oncology and support evidence-based, collaborative patient care. A complete program agenda and brochure will be available soon.

Dr. Lisa M. DeAngelis dedicated nearly four decades to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, beginning as a neuro-oncology fellow and ultimately serving as Chair of the Department of Neurology. She also held key institutional leadership roles, including Physician-in-Chief and Chief Physician Executive.

Target Audience: This symposium is intended for neurologists, neuro-oncologists, medical oncologists, neurosurgeons, radiation oncologists, hematologists, oncology trainees, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare professionals involved in the care of patients with neurologic complications of cancer or primary and metastatic tumors of the central nervous system. Registration is complimentary for all participants.

Location: This symposium will be held at the David H. Koch Center for Cancer Care at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (530 East 74th Street), in the 6th Floor East River Room.

Objectives
