The use of pelvic MRI in routine clinical practice is growing rapidly, mainly due to the extensive literature supporting its clinical value and expanding clinical indications. This hands-on course will offer the opportunity to learn or brush up on rectal MRI skills. Short lectures and whole case reviews on individual workstations will demonstrate the pearls and pitfalls in the evaluation of rectal MRI performed for staging and follow up evaluations. Hands on review of cases will be intermixed with short didactic lectures.

This educational activity is designed for practicing radiologists and radiologists in training as well as anyone with an interest in pelvic MRI.

Includes complimentary registration to the Symposium in Non-Metastatic Colon Cancer, Friday-Saturday, November 9-10.

Objectives

Understand how to perform high-quality MRI of the pelvis for rectal cancer evaluation
Understand how to interpret baseline staging MRI for rectal cancer
Understand how to interpret post treatment restaging MRI for rectal cancer
Understand the value of synoptic/templated reports for rectal cancer

If you cancel your participation in this course, your registration fee, less a $75 administrative fee, will be refunded when email notification is received by the MSK Office of Continuing Medical Education (MSK CME) at least 7 days prior to the first day of the course ([email protected]).

Cancellations or no-shows after this date are not eligible for a refund. MSK CME reserves the right to cancel or postpone any course due to unforeseen circumstances. In the unlikely event we must cancel or postpone this course, we will refund the registration fee in full, but are not responsible for any related costs, charges, or expenses to participants, including fees incurred by airline/travel/lodging agencies. At any time, you may substitute another registrant in your place after contacting MSK CME with the relevant information.
