2026 Advances in Prostate Cancer Management: A Multidisciplinary Approach

This two-day course, presented by faculty from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK), will highlight the latest advances in the multidisciplinary management of prostate cancer. Through comprehensive, state-of-the-art lectures and interactive discussions, participants will engage with expert faculty spanning radiology, pathology, surgery, radiation oncology, and medical oncology to exchange insights and explore collaborative approaches to prostate cancer care.

Sessions will cover the full continuum of care, including patient evaluation and risk assessment, active surveillance, focal therapy, local and systemic therapies, and the prevention and management of treatment-related side effects. Participants will also gain insights into emerging research and innovations shaping the future of prostate cancer care, including the latest scientific discoveries and clinical advances from MSK.

This program is intended for urologists, urologic oncologists, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, radiologists, and allied health professionals involved in the care of patients with prostate cancer. Participants may attend either onsite at MSK or virtually via Zoom.

Following the course, participants will receive access to an online syllabus containing recordings of the faculty presentations and PDF copies of the presentation slides.

1. Evaluate contemporary evidence and guideline recommendations for the management of localized and advanced prostate cancer, including active surveillance, focal therapy, surgery, radiation therapy, and systemic treatment options.
2. Apply clinical, pathologic, genomic, and imaging data to risk stratification and individualized treatment planning for patients across the prostate cancer disease continuum.
3. Interpret the appropriate use and clinical implications of genomic testing, biomarkers, and PSMA PET imaging to support diagnostic, prognostic, and therapeutic decision-making.
4. Compare and select evidence-based treatment strategies for patients with advanced prostate cancer, including the integration and sequencing of emerging systemic therapies.
5. Integrate multidisciplinary perspectives from urology, medical oncology, radiation oncology, radiology, and pathology to optimize patient-centered prostate cancer care and improve clinical outcomes.
