Overview

Presented by the Department of Neurosurgery and MSK Kids, this symposium provides a comprehensive overview of the multidisciplinary management of pediatric brain and spinal tumors at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK).

Through presentations by experts in pediatric neuro-oncology, neurosurgery, radiation oncology, neuropathology and molecular diagnostics, rehabilitation medicine, and neuropsychology, participants will gain insight into the integrated care pathways that support children from diagnosis through survivorship. Topics will include advances in molecularly guided diagnosis, innovative surgical techniques, emerging targeted therapies and clinical trials, precision radiation strategies, rehabilitation and functional recovery, and long-term neurocognitive outcomes.

Faculty will also highlight specialized MSK Kids programs—including the Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) Oncology Program, Pediatric Translational Medicine Program (PTMP), Neurofibromatosis (NF) Program, and Retinoblastoma Program—and demonstrate how multidisciplinary collaboration enables personalized, evidence-based treatment plans that improve outcomes across the continuum of care.

This symposium is intended for all healthcare professionals and will provide practical updates on the latest advances in multidisciplinary neuro-oncology care, including emerging diagnostic approaches and the newest therapeutic options. Registration is complimentary, with flexible options to participate live virtually or access the recorded program on demand.
